One, squeegee effect

In screen printing, the function of squeegee mainly has the following three aspects.

(1) Ink filling

Scraper, not only make ink leakage on the substrate.At the same time the ink can be fully filled into the screen through the ink part of the mesh.

(2) Homogenizing effect

In printing, the squeezer squeezes ink from one end of the plate to the other by transferring it through the mesh to the substrate to form a graphic image.In order to make the next scratch printing when there is enough ink, by the back ink board evenly, the ink evenly scraping back to the starting point of printing, so that the ink through the graphic part of the mesh, to prevent the mesh of ink due to drying.

(3) Imprint

To ensure the printing of different shapes of substrate.In the operation of the scraper, the ink scraper at the same time a certain force, so that the screen and substrate to maintain line contact, complete the scraping.In manual printing, the scraper is both the scraper and the ink board.While in mechanical printing, two scraper ink board and ink back board, printing and ink back with two types of ink board.Only the above three functions of the squeegee get a good play, in order to print high-quality prints.And the physical properties of the scraper and the above functions play a decisive role (such as the hardness of the squeezer can be very good to scrape off excess ink, but not very good to meet the various substrate shape requirements).Therefore, in the selection of squeegee, it is necessary to fully consider the performance of squeegee factors on the above functions, to avoid adverse effects on the printing effect.
